Physical and chemical properties: The pure product is a colorless crystal, with a melting point of 137-139 ℃, vapor pressure of 0.46mPa (20 ℃), density of 1.47, solubility (g/kg/20 ℃) of acetone 1507, benzene 33, ethyl acetate 650, ether 616, cyclohexane 0.2, trichloromethane 180, ethanol 861, and water 570mg/L (pH 7, 20 ℃). It is not easily hydrolyzed in acid-base media and can be decomposed by ultraviolet light.
Function characteristics: It is a selective post seedling herbicide with contact killing properties, used for stem and leaf treatment during the seedling stage, and works through leaf contact. When used in dry fields, photosynthesis is inhibited by first penetrating through the leaf surface into the chloroplast. The use of paddy fields can penetrate through the leaves and absorb through the roots, transmitting it to the stems and leaves, strongly hindering weed photosynthesis and water metabolism, causing nutritional starvation, and leading to physiological dysfunction and death. The active ingredients are metabolized into weakly active sugar conjugates in tolerant crops to detoxify, which is safe for crops. After 6-18 weeks of application, the herbicide can be decomposed by microorganisms in the soil.
